For MSU Travel
Anyone traveling on MSU business (faculty, staff, or students) is eligible for a comprehensive program providing 24/7 emergency medical assistance-including emergency evacuation and repatriation - and other travel assistance services when 100 or more miles away from home.
For Study Abroad students there is also insurance and that is obtained through the Study Abroad office.
For non-MSU travel
Although your domestic medical insurance may offer reimbursement for expenses incurred abroad there are some snags. An additional travel insurance policy (trip cancellation insurance and medical evacuation insurance) may be worth your while. Learn more. . .
